ASOS Wishlist

ASOS Wishlist

I don’t know about you, but this shift in weather has got me all inspired to start adding things to my autumn wardrobe, also adding last minute bits to my summer wardrobe as I still have a couple of trips coming up. Lately I’ve been obsessing over so many beautiful pieces on the ASOS site that I thought it might be fun to put together a post featuring my favourite items. Not only that, but ASOS have 20% off EVERYTHING on 20th August from 7am.

A Weekend in Southwold

A Weekend in Southwold

There’s nothing more I love than escaping London every now and then, driving to the coast and breathing in some fresh air. If you’re a Londoner you’ll know what I’m talking about. I find being by the sea very relaxing and calming and love to just switch off from the fast paced life of living in London. Don’t get me wrong I love it, but every now and then it’s needed.  One of my favourite places for a beach day in England is Southwold, it’s a small town located on the Suffolk Coast.

Personalised Kitchen gifts with Snapfish

Personalised Kitchen gifts with Snapfish

I’ve been a massive fan of Snapfish for years now. Snapfish is a much loved online retailer who is dedicated to helping individuals turn their beautiful photos into personalised items that they can cherish for years to come. Being a foodie, when I heard about the new personalised kitchen items they had available, I couldn’t wait to order a couple of items to have in my kitchen. Snapfish personalisation aspect is unique, and makes a wonderful keepsake. It creates a great housewarming present or birthday present for your foodie friend. It’s really easy to import your favourite photos from Facebook, Instagram or Google photos and the quality of the products I was really impressed with.

Tips on Moving to London Now

Tips on Moving to London Now

How have I been living in London eight years?! Thinking I would only be here for a couple of years and now I call it my home after owning a lovely flat now in North East London.  I’ve had a few messages asking if I have any advice on moving to London, so I thought I would put this post together and hopefully it will help some of you lovely lot if your thinking about that move.I grew up in a small village in Cambridgeshire, which is where I’ve lived for 22 years of my life. I feel very fortunate to have been bought up in such a lovely place. A quiet, quaint village where everyone knows everyone, where people say hello to strangers when you see them passing.

The Perfect Christmas Cheese Board

The Perfect Christmas Cheese Board

Christmas is the one time of year that I break out the cheese board multiple times during the month of December. Everyone has their preferred and favourite cheeses, I think having a mix of five or more different cheeses will hopefully suit everybody tastes, as well as having some olives, bread, apple and grapes to go alongside it. If you can’t decide what cheeses to buy this Christmas, I’m recommending and really enjoying the Award Winning Extra Special Cheese Range from Asda. Here is what I used on my cheese board:

The Big Feastival

The Big Feastival

I was thrilled to have gone to this years Big Feastival last weekend at Alex James’ Farm in the Cotswold with my partner and lucky for us, the sun even came with us too. We first scouted the festival to see what there was going on and us being foodies in our heads picked out what food caught our eye. There really was something for everyone, it was full of incredible music, wine tasting, cooking demonstrations, award winning street food and a packed programme of kids entertainment.
