THE CURTAIN HOTEL

I get asked all the time, where to stay in London whether that’s somebody on vacation or a couple/group needing a hotel for the weekend. I usually have zero suggestions as it’s very rare for me to stay in a hotel in my home city as my flat is not far from central London.

I’ve recently had the pleasure of staying at The Curtain located in the heart of Shoreditch, London and it’s without a doubt the most insta-worthy hotel in London.

It’s a five-star hotel with around 120 guest rooms and suites. I absolutely loved the decor of our room (junior suite), a gorgeous marble tiled bathroom, exposed brickwork, large panel windows with an outdoor terrace and the comfiest king-size bed. It was heavenly. We were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and some sweet treats, which was so kind.

The hotel also has a 24-hour gym, spa treatment rooms, co-working space, a chilled lounge area and also another restaurant called Red Rooster and the Green Room cocktail bar where you can also have Afternoon tea.

We had a really nice dinner at the LIDO restaurant on the roof-top of The Curtain where there are a retractable glass roof and a Morrocan- inspired heated pool. Perfect for a beautiful sunny day. The LIDO is only open to hotel guests and Curtain members. Everything felt very exclusive and relaxed, it was also nice as it wasn’t over-packed with people.

Breakfast the next morning was delicious. You can either choose between the hotel buffet breakfast or the a la carte menu. It was a perfect way to start the day.

You can book The Curtain hotel here or also look into membership options.

Although I was offered a complimentary stay at the hotel all opinions are my own, and I certainly wouldn’t have posted about it had I not had an amazing time!
