CHRISTIAN DIOR AFTERNOON TEA AT THE BERKELEY

The Berkeley hotel is certainly the place that knows how to create a gorgeous afternoon tea as I found out last week when I went to try the Prêt-à-Portea Christian Dior tea. Inspired by fashion but also a tribute to the V&A’s Designer of Dreams’ exhibition.

The Dior Couture Collection transforms landmark pieces into the most beautiful biscuits, bakes and fancies. From the Junon Dress worn by Theo Graham at Le Pré Catalan in Paris 1949 to the Bar Jacket which has been with Dior since it took to the catwalk in 1947 as part of the ‘New Look,’ each piece this season takes inspiration from Dior’s fashion history.

It was the perfect occasion to have a catch up with my twin sister Laura, we started off by enjoying a glass of champagne. Alongside the champagne there ‘s a vast tea selection to go with the food. I actually went for a latte which came with some lovely latte art.

The tea, service and food was absolutely wonderful at The Berkeley.

The Prêt-à-Portea Afternoon tea is £60 per person with a selection of teas. You can add a glass of champagne for £10.
